New office-bearers of SIAA handed over certificates

The newly elected office-bearers of the South Indian Artistes' Association today received their election ceritificates here.

At a function held, Election Officer Padmanabhan handed over the certificates to the successful candidates, sources said.

Veteran actor M Nasser and young actor Vishal were elected as President and General Secretary, respectively of SIAA in the closely fought elections yesterday.

Karthi, son of another veteran actor Sivakumar, was elected as Treasurer, while actors Ponvannan and Karunaas were elected as Vice-Presidents.
