NF Railway cancels 10 trains as flood damages tracks

Northeast Frontier Railway today cancelled 10 trains, and changed the schedules and routes of three others due to damage in tracks by flood waters in Lower Assam.

In a statement, NF Railway spokesperson said the trains have been cancelled "in view of the breaches in the New Bongaigaon-Goalpara Town-Kamakhya section of Rangiya division".

Apart from the cancelled trains, NF Railway has diverted two trains and rescheduled one train, the spokesperson added.
