Nickle prices slumped at the non-ferrous metal market here today on stockists selling amidst subdued demand from alloy industries.
Elsewhere, zinc, lead, brass sheet cuttings and select copper also edged down from lower offtake from industrial users.
On the global front, industrial metal copper steadied in early trade at the LME not far from its lowest in a fortnight as a dollar rally paused and traders stayed cautious given little sign of Chinese demand returning after last month's Lunar New Year.

Nickele dipped by Rs 15 per kg to Rs 1,030 from tuesday's closing level of Rs 1,045 and zinc also moved down by Rs 2 per kg to Rs 170 as against to Rs 172.
Copper scrap heavy, brass sheet cuttings and lead all softened by a Re per kg to Rs 435, Rs 325 and Rs 133 respectively.
However, copper utensils scrap gained Rs 2 per kg to Rs 412 and copper sheet cuttings inched up by Re per kg to Rs 428.
