Nickel prices slumped at the non-ferrous metal market here today on sustained stockists selling as well as subdued demand alloy industries amid weak trend in global markets.
Elsewhere, select copper slipped slightly on lower offtake from stockists and industrial users.
The Industrial metal, copper slid in early trade at the LME as traders who bought copper on talk of fresh easing measures by China took profits after it cut its bank reserve requirements.

Nickel dropped by Rs 20 per kg to Rs 1,065 from Wednesday's closing level of Rs 1,085.
Copper cable scrap, copper scrap heavy, copper armiture, copper utensils scrap, copper wire bar and brass sheet cutting all softened by a rupee per kg to Rs 425, Rs 420. Rs 416, Rs 397, Rs 445 and Rs 321 respectively.
However, copper sheet cutting, aluminium ingots and lead inched up by a Re per kg each to Rs 411, Rs 166 and Rs 135.
