Nissan Motor India today reported 51.89 per cent jump in domestic sales in November at 3,975 units as against 2,617 units sold in the same month last year.
Commenting on the sales results, Nissan Motor India Managing Director Arun Malhotra said: "Despite the impact of the liquidity crunch on the current demand for cars, Nissan India posted a healthy growth of 52 per cent in November with the continued solid performance of the Datsun redi-GO."
He said the company is helping its customers by promoting cashless payment options such as use of cheques, debit/credit cards, eWallets and other cashless services when they visit dealerships.
The company sells products across hatchback, MUV, SUV and sedan segments under the Nissan and Datsun brands in India.
