Nissan sales up 89% in Sept at 4,948 units

Nissan Motor India on Monday reported 89.14 per cent jump in domestic sales at 4,948 units in September.

The company had sold 2,616 units in the same month last year, Nissan Motor India (NMIPL) said in a statement.

Commenting on the sales performance, NMIPL Managing Director Arun Malhotra said the ongoing financial year has been encouraging especially the last quarter.

"Nissan has delivered solid results and we will begin the next quarter and festive season on a good note. Datsun redi-GO sales continue to be strong and we are delighted by its acceptance with consumers in India," he added.
