NIT Hamirpur director removed

The Union HRD ministry today removed Rajnish Shrivastava as director of National Institute of Technology, Hamirpur and appointed Vijay Kumar Sharma in his place.

Sharma, who had worked at NIT Hamirpur earlier as well during its initial years, said he would join tomorrow.

He said he had received a communication regarding his appointment.
