Nitish condoles death of veteran Labour leader Sharad Rao

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar today condoled death of workers' leader Sharad Rao in Mumbai.

Sharad Rao died in Nanavati hospital Mumbai this afternoon.

In his condolence message, Kumar described the deceased as veteran socialist and leader of the workers who was heading a number of effective labourers unions.

Rao gave leadership to 'Greater Mumbai Electric Supply and Transport Union', 'Mumbai Auto Rikshaw Union' and Labourers of Mumbai Municipal Corporation, an official statement said.

The departed leader always used to think for welfare of labourers.

His death has caused immense loss, the Bihar CM said.

Kumar prayed to the almighty let the departed soul rest in peace.
