In the midst of the Narada sting controversy, Trinamool Congress leader Mukul Roy today said no party leader has accepted money for personal gains.
"The sting operation had shown persons taking money. Mamata Banerjee has said investigation will be done at party level. I want to say it with great responsibility that those whom you are seeing, none of them have taken money for their own interest or personal gains," Roy said at a meeting here.
"Let there be investigation, it will be proved," he said.
Later, in a statement, Roy said "Doctored/manufactured we still don't know. I know my colleagues for long. They are not the kind who would take money for personal gains.
