Nursing student allegedly commits suicide in UP

A 25-year-old nursing student allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself in her hostel room here.

Shashi Bharti, who was a first year student of B.Sc- nursing at Hind Institute of Medical Sciences, hanged herself from ceiling in her hostel room near Safedabad yesterday, police said today.

The body has been sent for postmortem, they said, adding that an investigation is underway in the matter.
