Officer dies in road mishap

A Special Officer

(Paharia Welfare) of Dumka, Om Prakash Prasad, was today killed in a road mishap between Raghunathpur and Agoya Mode, about 50 kms from Dumka, under Poraiyahat police station in Godda district, police said.

Prasad was going to Godda on his four-wheeler when it dashed against a road-side tree, Police Superintendent of Godda, Ajay Linda said.

He was alone in the vehicle when the incident took place.
