Three youth were booked for allegedly killing an elderly man over a property dispute, police said today.
Amboo Navshya Budhar, 75, a resident of Behadpada hamlet in Vawar village in the district is suspected to have been killed on Friday by three of his acquaintances over some property dispute, inspector Keshav Naik of Jawhar police station said.
Budhar was found dead last morning near a agriculture field with serious wounds on his body, Naik said, adding the body has been sent for postmortem.

An offence was lodged under IPC section 302 (murder) rw 34 (common intention) against three suspects -- Devram Kurkute, Ganesh Budhar and Arun Jadhav -- all residents of the same hamlet.
The trio is at large now and a hunt has been launched to nab them, he said.
