Omkar Speciality Chemicals today said the company has received environment clearance for its manufacturing unit in Ratnagiri district in Maharashtra.
The projected capacity of this unit is 4500 tonnes and we expect the production to commence from first quarter of 2016- 17, Omkar Speciality Chemicals said in a regulatory filing.
After getting the clearance, the company in Phase 1, the unit will manufacture Vitamin C and Folic Acid. These products have significant growth opportunity and healthy margins.
