One person was killed and 19 others were injured when a van ferrying them overturned while negotiating a sharp turn in Namsai district of Arunachal Pradesh on Wednesday, police said.
The incident occurred in Tengapani area of the district, a police officer said.
Two critically injured persons were referred to a hospital in Assam while the remaining 17 released after they were administered first aid, he said, adding the body has been sent for post-mortem.
