One of the four injured persons in yesterday's attack on Odisha minister Sushant Singh's brother near Bijepur Assembly segment in Baragarh district, has died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Cuttack.
The deceased was identified as Dileswar Sahu, the driver of Subrat Singh, elder brother of the Odisha labour minister, sources at SCB Medical College Hospital said.
Sahu, who died yesterday night, had sustained injuries on his head during the attack on Subrat's vehicle. Three other injured persons were undergoing treatment at a hospital in Burla.

"The attack on Subrat Singh and his associates is an extremely inhumane act. It has deeply shocked me. Such barbaric incidents would not be tolerated in a peaceful state like ours. Stringent action would be taken against the guilty," he told reporters.
The CM also announced that the ruling BJD would take care of all expenses of the kin of Sahu, including his children's education.
The four persons were injured in an attack by a group of unidentified men in Banabira area, near the Bijepur assembly constituency, where polling is presently underway.
