One person has been arrested for allegedly submitting fake bail bonds in court for release of criminals.
Dinesh Kumar was arrested yesterday while his accomplices Raju and N K Bansal, a Meerut-based lawyer, are still absconding, Investigation Officer (IO) Sub-Inspector Ravipal Punia said.
They were also involved in submitting fake bail papers in court for securing release of a notorious criminal from jail at Budhana town in the district, police said.
A case was registered in this regard on the direction of court on June 27, the sub-inspector added.
