A person was injured today when an improvised explosive device (IED) exploded at Moirangpurel, around 20 km from here, police said.
The incident occurred at around 4.30 PM and the identity of the injured person is yet to be established.
The area has been cordoned off and search operations are on in the vicinity, police said.
No outfit has claimed responsibility for the blast.
