One killed, five injured as auto collides with truck

One person was today killed and five others were injured when an autorickshaw collided with a truck near Vanshi Bazar on Azamgarh-Gorakhpur road, police said.

The auto, carrying passengers, collided with the truck in Nagar Kotwali police station area killing Salman (20) on the spot, police said.

The body has been sent for post mortem examination and the injured were admitted to district hospital, police added.
