One killed in TTPL mishap

A 55-year-old worker of the state-run Travancore Titanium Products Limited (TTPL) was killed and another injured after a tank collapsed at the factory's acid neutralisation plant near here today, police said.

The deceased was identified as Hareendran, police said.

Though he was rushed to the Government Medical College Hospital here, doctors declared him brought dead.

Another employee, 28-year-old Sarosh was admitted to the intensive care unit, it said

Police said investigation was on to ascertain whether it was a case of negligence.
