One more labourer dies in furnace blast incident

One more labourer today succumbed to injuries, taking the death toll to three in a blast that took place in an industrial unit at village Chanalo here, police said today.

Rama Kant succumbed to his injuries at a Ludhiana hospital, they said.

Two labourers, Sonu Kumar and Raju Yadav, were killed while five others sustained injuries in the blast when molten iron from a furnace spilled over and fell on them, police said.
