"Pirates of the Caribbean" star Orlando Bloom is reportedly set to play Batman in "Superman Vs Batman"
Rumours regarding, who will star opposite 'Man of Steel' Henry Cavill, have been rife ever since the Warner Bros movie was announced at San Diego Comic-Con International in July and now the 36-year-old actor has emerged as the hot favourite for the role, reported Daily Express.
Actor Christian Bale was also rumoured to be considering the role, despite previously saying that he would not return following the Dark Knight Trilogy.
Scott Adkins was also recently said to be auditioning for the part.
Bloom is all set to reprise his Lord of the Rings role as Legolas in "The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug".
