OSRTC introduces bus ticketing on mobiles

The state-run Odisha State Road Transport Corporation (OSRTC) has introduced bus ticketing on mobile phones, official sources said.

The service will be for the time being be available in the Android Operating System. IOS version will be introduced as soon as authorisation is received from Apple, the sources said.

The booking of bus tickets online through internet, facebook, google and mobile phone will benefit bus commuters in Odisha who can reserve their choise seats in any OSRTC buses using debit card, credit card, internet banking and other internet payment models like Paytm, they said.

The corporation runs 189 services including some inter-state ones.
