Over 320 kg opium seized in Chittorgarh

Rajasthan Police today seized 323.5 kg of opium powder packed in 15 bags from a luxury vehicle on Nimbahera-Neemach road in Chittorgarh district.

Two occupants of the vehicle managed to escape taking advantage of darkness after they were intercepted by police at a check point, Prasan Kumar, Superintendent of Police Chittorgarh said.

A case under NDPS act was registered and the vehicle's owner was being traced, the SP said.
