Around 48 people attending a wedding ceremony here fell ill allegedly after consuming food, a medical officer said today.
All of them were rushed to a nearby hospital, he said.
"The incident occurred yesterday when the guests were having food at the function. Some people including women and children started vomiting at different places of the venue," Chief Medical Officer Dr RP Rawat said.
The CMO said, "at present two women and three children are still in hospital, while rest of the patients have been discharged".
Food inspectors have taken the food samples for testing.
