Over Rs 12 lakh ganja seized on Indo-Nepal border

Security force intercepted the smugglers on Indo-Nepal border last night and seized 126 kg contraband from their possession, Deputy Commandant of BSF Ashok Kumar Thakur said.

The smugglers, however, managed to escape leaving behind the contraband valued at Rs 12.60 lakh in the international market, he said.

Illegal smuggling of contraband and counterfeit currencies have been reported frequently on the porous Indo-Nepal border, a major portion of which falls in Bihar.
