Pallavaram-Thoraipakkam radial road in the city has become the preferred location for making residential investments, according to a research report by real estate consulting firm RECS Group.
Porur and Sholinganallur ranked second and third respectively as the preferred investment destinations, the report said.
"Pallavaram-Thoraipakkam Road and its neighbourhood are emerging as the most preferred residential investment destination for middle and upper middle class investors," RECS Group, Chief Consultant, Rajesh Babu said.
After Pallavaram-Thoraipakkam Road and Porur, Thirumudivakkam, Sholinganallur, Perambur, East Coast Road, Nolambur were preferred by the buyers, the release added.
The ranking was based on various factors like road and rail connectivity, presence of educational institutions, hospitals, shopping centres and future growth potential, he said.
