Patient dies as ambulance turns turtle on Yamuna Expressway

A 41-year-old man was today killed and six others were injured when a speeding ambulance turned turtle in Surir area here on Yamuna Expressway, police said.

The incident occurred when the family members of Govind Bhagat, who got injured after falling from roof, were taking him to Gwalior from Sirsa for treatment, Kotwal of Surir police station, Narendra Singh Yadav said.

The driver of the ambulance lost control over the vehicle after which it turned turtle along the Expressway, he said.

Govind died on the spot while his family members were injured, he said.

The officer said that all the injured have been admitted to a hospital.
