Calling for a united Left movement in Bengal, Party for Democratic Socialism state secretary Samir Putatunda today said his party would field 10 candidates in the Lok Sabha polls.
"It is high time that the Left movement is strenghtened in the state. If you want to make a front of secular parties, then you need to first bring all Left parties together," said Putatunda, contesting from the Diamond Harbour seat.
"Former CPI(M) leader Abdur Rezzak Mollah has said that he will campaign in my favour not as a PDS candidate, but as a person," he said.
