The Anti-Corruption Bureau in Rajasthan has registered a Preliminary Enquiry (PE) to verify facts of an allegation of land grabbing against Union MoS for Defence Jitendra Singh and former sub-divisional officer given by an RTI activist, a charge dismissed by Singh as baseless.
The PE was registered on February 20 and the matter was referred to ACB, Alwar, to verify facts mentioned in the complaint, DG, ACB, Manoj Bhatt said today.
The complainant Ashok Pathak had alleged earlier this month that the Minister Jitendra Singh grabbed a 7.8 bigha land worth crores of rupees in Alwar by presenting wrong facts.
The allegation has already been rejected by the minister as baseless.
