Performance incentive to workers of state PSUs

: The Tamil Nadu government today announced a performance incentive to over one lakh workers of various public sector undertakings.

Chief Minister Jayalalithaa said different categories of employees in government transport departments, civil supplies corporation and milk cooperative units will benefit from the move.

The government will pay a total of Rs 11.49 crore to a little over 1.95 lakh employees, she said in a statement.
