Petrol bomb hurled at post office in Salem

A petrol bomb was hurled at the South Post Office here by miscreants today, police said.

A worker, who came to clean the office premises, noticed the broken bottle pieces and informed the police.

Investigations revealed that the attack on the post office might have taken place late last night or early this morning, police said.

No damage was caused in the incident, police added.

The police are going through the CCTV footage to identify the miscreants.
