PFI moves HC for permission to hold rally, public meeting

Popular Front of India (PFI) has moved the Madras High Court seeking permission for holding a procession and public meeting here and Dindigul tomorrow on the occasion of its Foundation Day.

In a petition, PFI said it was holding the two events to mark its foundation day. But police have refused permission for them.

Challenging this, PFI has moved the petition.

Justice T S Sivagnanam has posted the matter for passing orders tomorrow.
