Pilgrims injured after nilgai hits vehicle

Nine pilgrims hailing from Bangalore were injured after their SUV was hit by a 'nilgai' near Nidhauli Khurd here this morning, police said.

The pilgrms were on their way from Jain pilgrim centre of Kampil in Farrukhabad district to Bateshwar in Agra when their vehicle overturned after a stray 'nilgai' hit it, they said.

Those injured have been identified as Kusum Ben (60), Kamla (50), Hema (25), Jyoti (54), Mahavir (35),Nishant (4), Narayan (60), Chiranjilal (76) and Navin (30).

All of them are residents of T R Nilaynagar.
