A pirated CD manufacturing unit was unearthed in the city today and two persons working there taken into custody for interrogation, police said.
Based on a tip-off, police surrounded a house at Ganapati and found two persons engaged in copying the CDs, police said.
They seized 1,250 CDs, including some porno and new Tamil films, currently running in theatres and also six copy and writing machines, they said.
Police have taken the duo--Sreenivasan and Iqbal-- for interrogation, police said.
