Pistol, cash, SUVs seized from Future Maker promoters; police

: A revolver,Rs 60 lakh in cash and SUVs were among items seized from the homes of promoters of Future Maker Life Care in Haryana, arrested recently for allegedly running an illegal multi-level marketing money circulation scheme.

Radhe Shyam,Chairman and Managing Director and BhansiLal, MD of the company, were arrested by the Economic Offences Wing of Cyberabad Police from Hisar, Haryana, on September 8 on the charge of running the MLM) scheme, duping thousands of people.

"Police searched the house of Radheshyam and others who were involved in the case. Searches were conducted in FMLC godowns/warehouses and the seizures were effected

Police also searched the Future Maker Life Care Private Ltd Head Office and Corporate office at Hisar.

 

One revolver (with 10 rounds), four laptops, six mobile phones, Rs 60 lakh cash and SUV vehicles-Fortuner, Ford Endeavor and Jaguar were seized," Cyberabad Commissioner VC Sajjanar said in a press release.

Citing judgements of the Supreme Court and various courts, Sajjanar said multi-level marketing, network marketing and referral marketing schemes were illegal under Prize Chits and Money Circulation Scheme (PCMCS) Banning Act.

He cautioned the public against joining such illegal schemes and said those involved in such activities would be arrested and action taken agains them as per law.
