A PLA cadre was arrested by security forces from Koirengei Bazar area in Imphal East district, a police official said today.
The cadre - identified as H Premjit (40) of Singjamei area under Singjamei Police station in Imphal West district - was arrested by a combined team of 45 Assam Rilfes and police yesterday, the police official said.
One 9 mm pistol with three live rounds of ammunition and two hand greanade were recovered from the PLA cadre, the official said.
The arrested person has been handed over along with seized arms to the Heingang police station.
