Actor Bhumi Pednekar says playing sharpshooter Chandro Tomar in "Saand Ki Aankh" has been a life changing experience for her.
The actor, best known for her roles in "Dum Laga Ke Haisha" and "Shubh Mangal Saavdhan", says she was initially apprehensive about doing justice to the role but now considers it "one of the most special films" of her career.

The film is based on the lives of two elderly sharpshooters from the village of Johri, Prakashi Tomar and Chandro Tomar.
Taapsee Pannu plays the role of Prakashi Tomar in the Tusar Hiranandani-directed film. Anurag Kashyap serves as the producer.
"Saand Ki Aankh" shows how these two women defied odd and traditions to pursue their goal and attained national fame by winning more than 30 national championships after the age of 65. They are considered the oldest sharpshooters in India.
