The maximum temperature was recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius, said a MeT department official.
The relative humidity oscillated between 38 per cent to 91 per cent, he said.
Sunday is likely to be marked by clear skies, with maximum and minimum temperatures expected to hover around 35 degrees Celsius and 24 degrees Celsius, respectively.
