'Plenipotent' wins main Hyderabad race

'Plenipotent', ably ridden by Akshay Kumar, claimed The Qutab Shashi Million, the chief event of Hyderabad Winter Races held here today.

The winner was trained by Deshmukh.

Trainers Prasad R scored a treble and Laxman S scored a double, while jockey P Sai Kumar scored a double.

Three first favourites obliged in a card of nine events.
