PM congratulates wrestler Bajrang Punia for winning Gold
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tonight congratulated wrestler Bajrang Punia for winning the Gold medal in the Asian Wrestling Championship and said the country was proud of his exemplary accomplishment.
"Congratulations to Bajrang Punia for securing the Gold in Asian Wrestling Championship. India is very proud of his exemplary accomplishment," he tweeted.
Punia got the first Gold medal for India in the championship as he registered a victory over Seungchul Lee of Korea in 65kg freestyle here today.
