PM to lay foundation stones for power, fertiliser plants in

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will lay foundation stones for NTPC's 1600 MW thermal power plant and for revival of a fertilisers plant at Ramagundam in Karimnagar district on August 7.

Modi will also dedicate to nation the 1200 MW Singareni Thermal Plant at Jaipur in Adilabad district.

"Telangana Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao invited Prime Minister to the state to participate in various programmes and accordingly, the Prime Minister for the first time (is) visiting Telangana on August 7," a government release said today.

Modi is expected to reach Begumpet airport in a special plane and from there he will reach Gajwel in Medak district in a chopper to address a public meeting, it said.
 

The PM will also launch the first phase of "Mission Bhagiradha", a state government drinking water project in Gajwel, besides attending other programmes.
