Police today arrested eight miscreants including a woman along with arms from Motihari town, the headquarters of East Champaran district in Bihar, and foiled their bid at contract killing.
Superintendent of Police Jitendra Rana said the police seized a nine mm pistol, a country made pistol, 11 cartridges and 250 gram of ganja from their possession.
During the interrogation, the miscreants admitted that they had taken contract to kill two prominent citizens of the district, the SP said adding that the police foiled their bid to kill them.

The arrested woman played a key role in hatching the murder plan, he said adding the miscreants told the police that some white collared persons gave them the contract.
Among those arrested were miscreants who had been involved in murder and loot and were released from the jail recently, SP said.
