Police arrests two for raping a woman in Gurgaon

Two persons have been arrested for allegedly raping a 30-year-old woman after giving her sedated drink at a hotel here five days ago, police said today.

Manish Kapoor, an accountant in a company at Gurgaon, and Kamal Nath had allegedly raped the woman in a hotel after calling her to a hotel on the pretext of getting her child admitted in a reputed Delhi school, they said, adding the duo were arrested last evening.

The woman, who stays at Delhi and works at a senior position in a firm at Gurgaon, knows Kapoor. He had called her to a hotel at Gurgaon on April 15 to help her getting her child admitted to a reputed school in Delhi.
 

According to police, when she arrived at the hotel Kapoor introduced her with Kamal Nath. They then gave her soft drink laced with sedatives.

When she become semi-unconscious, they took her to a room in the hotel and both allegedly gang raped her.

However, after four days, the woman approached police at Rohini at Delhi on Saturday last and narrated her ordeal.

Delhi Police came into action and took the woman to Gurgaon and informed their counterpart.

On her complaint, Gurgaon police lodged the FIR against two youth and got her medical examination done, which confirmed rape.

Following which, police arrested both the accused.
