Police detains minor for posting threat messages on group chat

A minor boy was today detained for allegedly posting messages in a group chat on 'WhatsApp' threatening bomb blasts on Jaunary one morning.

The accused boy was preparing for medical entrance examination in Kota, DIG ATS B L Meena said.

The ATS was informed about the group chat in which two persons had posted messages threatening of bomb blasts.

One of the mobile numbers was traced to the minor boy in Kota and the other in Patna.

"We have held the student in Kota and the efforts are on to identity the other accused," he said.
