Police inspector booked for alleged rape

A police inspector was booked for allegedly raping a 27-year-old girl in Sriganganagar district in Rajasthan.

The woman alleged that Chug Singh Sodha, SHO Ghadsana, who was investigating a rape case lodged by her against two persons in Bikaner earlier, raped her in August.

An FIR against the SHO, who has gone on leave, was lodged last evening, Deepak Sharma, CO-Anupgarh said.
