Police officer injured in accident

Senior police officer Gopabandhu Mallick was injured when a truck collided with his car, about 70 km from here today, police sources said.

Mallick, an ADG rank IPS officer, was coming to Koraput when the accident occurred at Sunki Ghati under Potangi police station, the sources said.

He was first taken to the local hospital and then to the district headquarter hospital in Koraput.
