Police on look out for man for killing driver

The Thane city police are on the look out for a man who allegedly murdered his driver and dumped the body below a bridge in Hill Line locality here.

The victim, Akilesh Sharma (30), worked as a driver with one Ashok. He met with an accident recently, for which the employer allegedly demanded Rs 25,000 as compensation for the damage suffered by the car, which the former did not comply with, police said today.

In his complaint to the police, the victim's father, Girija Shankar,a watchman, alleged that his son was killed by his employer as he could not pay the sum he demanded.
 

The body of Ashok was found near the Hill Line on Monday, police said.

Police charged Ashok under section 302 of the IPC but no arrest had been made so far, police said.
