Police seizes 48 kg charas in Bihar

The police today seized 48 kg charas worth Rs 4.80 crore from a village near the Indo-Nepal border in Bihar's West Champaran district.

Bhangha police station in-charge Mukesh Singh said police seized three sacks of charas, weighing 48 kg, lying abandoned in a field in Parsauni village.

The contraband consignment has been valued at Rs 4.80 crore in international market, he said.
