Policeman dies in hospital after being hit by car

A police constable, who was hit by a car while riding a motorcycle on the Yamuna Expressway, died at a private hospital here while undergoing treatment, the police said today.

Devendra Singh (42) was hit by the car yesterday. He was admitted to a district hospital but later shifted to a private hospital where he died during treatment, they said.

"The family of the deceased would be provided all possible help," SSP Swapnil Mamgai said.
