Pondy Lt Governor pays homage at Kalam's memorial

Puducherry Lt Governor Kiran Bedi today paid homage to former President A P J Abdul Kalam at his memorial here.

Bedi placed a wreath and went around the memorial of Kalam, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi last month.

After an overnight stay, she would offer prayers at the famous Lord Ramanathaswamy temple here tomorrow.

Ramanathapuram district Collector S Natarajan and senior police officials were present during the Puducherry Lt Governor's visit to the former President's memorial.
